        My friend’s jewelry was appraised and held at Emerald City until her death. When I inquired about the jewelry prior to the auction, Sheri blatantly lied to me about the worth of an antique ring. She told me it was worth $5000 when in reality it is worth approximately $130. I wouldn’t trust them with anything.

        I had several rings I needed resized and updated. I worked with Bruce and he was very helpful in fulfilling my requests. I had my old wedding band removed and replaced with an updated band. I also wanted to keep my engagement ring, but update it. He gave me some options and they created a beautiful wedding ring for me! I love it! I also had a sapphire ring that had a chip at the “point” end of the pear shaped gem. Bruce again offered several options. Emerald City created a nice little pendant out of my chipped sapphire and we replaced the chipped gem from ring with an Australian John Ford black Opal! He was in the store recently and I got to see and learn about these opals. A wonderful experience and ECJ hosted a wonderful evening of appetizers and cocktails. I think I chose the least expensive Opal out of the collection, but I love it! One thing I like about Emerald City Jewelers is they are not “Pushy” with offering more expensive pieces beyond your budget. They work with in your budget. I was also able to sell some gold for store credit. Extremely pleased with Emerald City Jewelers! Angie

           We're Emerald City Jewelers, and we've been custom designing jewelry here in Quincy, IL, since 1990. We're family owned and operated, and we believe in treating everyone who comes through the doors with the utmost attention and respect, offering custom designs, unique gemstones and custom engagement rings and wedding bands.
