        The crew of this location clearly work hard to provide an excellent experience for their customers. The restaurant is clean and crew are efficient and welcoming. The care and quality of the food they provide has earned my loyalty over other competitors. Also, this restaurant is the only one I've ever been to that can make a decent cheesesteak! Kid-friendliness: Provide booster seats and high chairs. They also are very accommodating.

        Tried to stop at Penn Station East Coast Subs in Peoria at 8:45pm tonight. Posted hours are open until 9pm. The sign in the window said "Open." The doors were unlocked. We were turned away at the front register, "We're closed. We closed at 8:30." Now, I get that people walking in 15 minutes before closing is annoying. But we were planning to tip well for the inconvenience. Instead, we went next door to Culvers, who happily served us.

      Our menu features an array of mouth watering Grilled Penn Station submarine sandwiches, fresh-cut fries and hand-squeezed lemonade. All sandwiches are prepared fresh in full view of the customer using delicious hearth-baked bread, USDA Choice Steak and the finest meats, cheeses and vegetables. The potatoes are hand selected, fresh-cut and flash-fried in cholesterol-free peanut oil. The lemonade is made from scratch every day using hand-squeezed lemons.
