They couldn't make it work from the start. I'm sometimes amazed that these "counselors" take zero consideration into the fact people seeking them are struggling. I'm also amazed this particular person is booked until December. I started looking for help in Sept., couldn't get in until Dec., then got an email stating they couldn't accept my initial appointment I made, but could I come in that night. The email gave me less than 25 minutes to read it, be ready, and arrive. I couldn't make that work, as I feel most reasonable, working, people could not, and I haven't heard from this place since to reschedule. And what was the plan? Have one session right that second and then never meet again until December?? Couldn't imagine less compassion or worse communication.

Amys been so great to work with. My favorite thing is while shell let you just talk if thats what you want to do, she also can do EMDR/guided meditation/hypnosis/etc. Ive found those processes have been what have actually helped me work through things and heal on a deeper level. Just talking may help me understand some things about myself, but doesnt actually fix anything and gets frustrating after a while. The other tools Amy helps you learn have helped me go beyond just understanding things and work towards making changes and moving forward. Im very grateful for her. She also often has sassy hair colors and her office always smells good.

Im always greeted with an inviting, relaxing environment and a smile. I have always felt welcome and comfortable from day one. Mind Oasis is a safe space for Women and a place of healing. It has quickly become one of my favorite happy and safe spaces and look forward to my time with Amy. She does healing paint nights and guided imagery sessions at a local place of healing and relaxation that both accompany me on my journey and love having the option for those as well. It has been a wonderful space in which to heal and find myself again.

I have finally found a counselor that works for me! She has many different helpful techniques and resources. She is so nice!
