        Have a friend that is in the hospital and tried to order a nice arrangement for them. Unfortunately, this locations website is not very user-friendly. After I selected the flowers that I wanted typed in all my information, it would not let me go to the cart in order to pay. After repeated attempts, it finally let me in. Once I went to go pay all it did was bring up a spinning wheel, saying that it was loading payment options. After 15 minutes I closed out and went to a different florist. Theres selection was fine, but their website ended up costing them $136 order. Addendum: The owners replied that they had some weather issues that impacted their site. I updated my rating so as to not potentially impact their future business opportunities due to a weather issue.

        I don't think I have ever been spoken to or treated more rudely by a business as I have this one. I called the morning of Nov. 7th and asked to have a plant sent to the funeral of my best friend gma. I explained I lived out of state and she cut me off and asked the name. I gave it and she said flowers had to be there in the next 4 mins. That the funeral would not allow them. The service was over 2 hours from the time I called. She refused to work with me. Worse off I explained the plant I wanted and she was so rude and saying she didn't know what it was. It was a nickname of the plant. Most florist would know nick names but if not would try to help. It was shameful. I called the funeral home. They said they wouldn't deny delivered plants and flowers for a service. Imagine that. How disappointing for a small town business. I'd rather do business with Schnucks forget local.

      I apologize there was a website issue, I will contact our website provider and see if there is a problem we can get fixed. I do know weather is causing some internet issues this week. Please in the future call the shop (309)347-5921 we would be happy to take your order over the phone. We can make arrangements in a all shapes, sizes and dollar amounts to fit you style and budget.       I'm sorry to hear you had this experience, The local funeral homes do have a 2 hour rule for the florists to have all plants and flowers there by. Individual customers who walk in with something they will except. If a visitation is at 10am then family arrives at 9:00am sometimes before to view before the public. This only gives the funeral home 1 hour to ensure the room is set up properly with the plants & flowers before the family arrives. We have multiple timed funerals in a day and this service you are talking about the flowers had already been delivered. Our driver was already out of town with other orders so we had no way of getting a plant together to get it to the service on time. Plants do have hundreds of names and nicknames so we do often have to look them up, but we could not take this late order. Again I apologize you didn't understand this process but we are a small shop and only have a few staff so we need advanced noticed to get everything ready and delivered on time to funeral services. There is a system we have to follow and the funeral homes give us the delivery deadline for each service which is on a board for is to follow. If items are late to the flower delivery room at the funeral home they do not make it into the service because after the deadline that room isn't checked until the next service. This is why the rule is in place. Thank you
