Fred James Photography

Writing this review is so disappointing, my family used Fred Fox for my mother, aunt, and older brother’s wedding so it was an obvious choice for me. The process prior to the wedding was simple, unfortunately after the wedding is when the issue began. It took about 3 months after the wedding to receive our photos and that was only after my husband and I called them almost everyday. We are now in July 2020 (10 months after my wedding) and we still have no video from our wedding. I had such high hopes for them after my other family members wedding’s, but this experience has been extremely stressful.

If I could give 0 I would. Stay far away from Fred fox. My husband and I got married in October of 2018. My mom paid extra for a specific photographer. We were told to expect a call from the photographer the week before the wedding to discuss what pictures we wanted taken, with who, the poses etc. The day before the wedding we still hadn't received a call so we called and spoke to Crystal. She said she would have the photographer call us and hung up immediately. Five minutes later Crystal calls saying that our photographer had an "emergency" and could no longer shoot our wedding. She said they would send someone else. They offered a 11x14 picture in return for the confusion (which didn't come close to wait we paid for the specific photographer). The person who showed up brought his dog with him and had the dog sitting in his car throughout the whole wedding. He also made numerous inappropriate comments to the women at my wedding. He said to my friend to cover her breasts up and that he had to be careful with how he addressed it because of "how women behave these days" and how "women have become so overly sensitive when men comment on their bodies." During our extended family photo he asked my aunt where her family was and she said they couldn't attend and he asked if she even belonged in the picture. My great uncle and Aunt were talking to each other during a picture and he said "you can talk to her later I found her number up in the men's bathroom saying she's a good time". He only took 3 pictures of my husband, kids and I and they were all the same pose. He didn't ask us who we wanted pictures with nor the poses we wanted. With the craziness of the wedding day we didn't even think to bring our list with us. He had no clue how to work with my kids and only got one good picture of them. He got 0 photos of just my kids together. None of the photos were what we wanted and I will never have another wedding day. We didn't get to look at our pictures until January and didn't receive our flash drive until late February. We didn't get the link to set up our photo album until July and still have yet to receive the album. Every time we have called, emailed or texted they don't pick up. We are lucky if they respond within a month or at all. We wouldn't have had a photographer for a wedding unless we had called. This company is a literal joke and it has been my biggest regret working with them. They expect you to pay in full and then won't give you what you paid for. Crystal has been basically useless in getting anything done. For the love of God chose any other photography company. Update: September 5th 2020. Best advice for those who cant seem to get him to pick up the phone/call back, call and leave a voicemail pretending to need a photographer for whatever event and leave a fake name. I guarantee he will call you back in like 5 minutes so long as they are open. Finally got my wedding album today. He said he would ship it to my home and never did (big shock there) so my mother had to make the hour long drive. I got married on October 26th 2018. I got my album just in time for my second wedding anniversary. Whoopie! (Sarcasm). Go literally anywhere else. Give your friendly neighborhood crackhead a camera. I promise you that you will be better off.

Is it possible to give zero stars? It has been 11 months and I still do not have my wedding video. DO NOT USE FRED FOX!!! we got married 7.6.19 Heard nothing after the wedding. Figured that was normal because they said 12 weeks. Called. Nothing. Called. Nothing. Finally found out the office we were calling closed. No one told us. We didn’t even know there was another office. November. Got ahold of someone. Told us about the mistake. Things got lost in the closing. Ok. Things happen I understand. Told us they would start working on it right away. Sweet. Perfect. No problem. December. Nothing. Email. Sorry again. We didn’t have your songs for the video. Ok. Fine. Getting annoyed. Here are the song we would like to use. January. Nothing. February. Nothing. Ok It’s March. I am getting mad. Called weekly, multiple days in a row. Looking for any information. They keep telling me they have to check with editors. Blah blah blah. Promise to call me right back. Nothing. April. Nothing. May. Nothing. June. They email us! We don’t have your four song!? I am done. There will be lawyers. I need my money back. I need all my footage. I will make the movie myself. I’m coming for you. Married July 2019. No video still by June 2020. Do not use Fred Fox for anything. They are liars, cheats and terrible at their job.

HORRIBLE! My wedding was 2 years ago and I still do not have my wedding video. You sure pay thousands of dollars for what? You don’t receive what you paid for! I have called 20 times and they pretend they know who I am and say they will take care of it and weeks go by with no call back and no video. Truly disappointed and would never recommend. I can’t believe a company could treat you so poorly.
