Calumet is a great option if you're looking to rent camera equipment over the week. The daily rate is a bit high, but for the same rate, they'll let you keep the lens for the entire weekend. They're pretty good about working with your schedule. Often times, they'll let you pick up items on Friday and drop off on Monday for a single day rate. What?! Just make sure you test the item before you leave the shop to make sure it functions as expected.

It would have been nice and professional if the salesman (Dan) had told me the D750 I was purchasing was NOT a USA model, now I have a camera that will not have a Nikon warranty.
Do your research before making a purchase here, you think you are in an authorized Nikon dealer, you are not.

I just love Calumet Photo! Four years ago I purchased a wonderful Canon camera on Christmas Eve (poor timing, I know). The staff worked as hard as they could to get me the best deal possible. Since then I have taken a number of classes and they were all great. When Calumet Photo merged with Ritz, the service was terrible. Their inventory was virtually non-existent and their staff was just plain ignorant. So glad to see Calumet Photo is back.

I went there as a last minute resort for a lens I needed for a session. The staff was very helpful, very friendly, and helped me find exactly what I needed as far as renting for this particular session. I will be going back because their rental prices are inexpensive for the products I am needing! I'm happy they reopened!!!!!
