Whatever reason you left this for . . . I thank you and hope to give you many opportunities in the future to feel like you gave us the correct rating. (However, make sure you understand that I am not hoping that you have car problems and that is why you keep coming in! 😊)

We use pneumatic torque wrenches but that does not mean we did not let you down. We should NEVER let a machine finish our work for you when we are talking about your safety. WE have to assume your position because you trust us to take your place in taking care of you!We keep records of who worked on each car wherever work is done. I will get to the bottom of this. I wish you would let us, if you haven't done it already, take a look at your wheels with you. We can put your car up on the lift and take you underneath the car so we can see what happened together.As we all know, during normal driving, wheels are subjected to substantially tough driving conditions around the Chicago area. As much as we like to tighten things so they don't become looser as you drive, that same roughness on the road can tighten things more than we want them to. It is not something you should worry about - it is something that is our responsibility.This contact has given me an idea! I believe I am going to begin a tire check service for once a month checks - at no charge to the customer (!) - for EVERY SINGLE customer of ours so they can come in and in a few minutes we can make sure things are in a continued excellent driving condition. I can leave a bay open to do that throughout the day so we can be better at what we do.I will pull your records out first thing in the morning and like I said above, I will get to the bottom of this and I thank you very, very much for taking the time to remind us to always be better!We are sorry we have caused you trauma.

Terry, thank you for the kind words. There are a lot of people who come in and we don't get to know them as well as we know you. You are always pleasant to deal with and we really like you as a person. I guess that sort of makes your review a little unfair since you like us, also. I won't refuse the review, but would love to get a great review from someone who really doesn't like me!It has been tough taking over a shop with such a good reputation. I wish Jim and Pete had lived forever. They were amazing business people and mechanics.
