I lost my Father suddenly to suicide this past April. During the most difficult sad period in my life I also needed to make arrangements to honor him and his wishes to be cremated . This was the first time I had to plan anything after the passing of a loved Originally I contacted a funeral home to help with the cremation but later learned from a friend about direct cremation.I then contacted Skyline crematory because that is who the funeral home was going through so I felt if they trusted them that I could also . Many years ago I was told of a horrible cremation place after a relatives passing , so I needed to ask many questions to make sure my Dad was being taken care of , respected and honored during the process . I spoke to Rich in detail about everything and he was very patient and kind during a hard period. He emailed me the forms and I was able to send them back so I didn’t have to make more trips there while I grieving the loss of my Dad. The place was absolutely beautiful and state of the art cremation. I asked to see my Father there one last time before they cremated him and they were happy to allow me to and I will forever be grateful for that because it also helped me have some closure and I was so pleased with how they were taking care of him. In addition if you wanted a quiet typical service after or something more modern like a “celebration of life “, they were happy to accommodate you there with that also . Rich and his brother Paul were both very kind and friendly and during a sad , hard period and they made me feel better talking to them. I also found a beautiful Urn to purchase there for my Dad. I recommended this place so highly that I am now considering my last wishes being cremated here in the future too. I miss my Dad so much but Rich and Paul made me feel better and their services helped me with letting him go. ♥️♥️

I lost my father the day before Christmas 2020. Rich was very sympathetic to our needs and scheduled everything for us. We live in Florida and with the covid 19 virus we didn't want to travel to Illinois when flights where so full. Skyline has handled all the burial arrangements for our family for years. I am very confident that my love one was respected and in very good hands.

My mother passed in early 2020 in Arizona and had her flown to Illinois, where she originally was from. We chose services at Skyline Funeral Chapel. She was in her 90's and didn't need a big funeral service. The facilities were extremely nice. Paul Kint, the owner of Skyline was there and was very courteous and helpful. The masoleum chapel is very beautiful. The staff was polite and accommodating.
