I really wanted to like Otro Rollo, but unfortunately I cannot recommend them. We worked with them on a partial kitchen remodel- cutting out part of a wall, installing new cabinets, countertop, and breakfast bar.
First the good- Johnathan was very communicative and was able complete the work in a fairly narrow window that we had available before we moved into our new home. He was open to ideas and pointed out some potential issues ahead of time.
Unfortunately, the attention to detail and follow through were severely lacking.
Numerous details were left unfinished (i.e. gap between cabinets & wall, seal between countertop & wall, attaching drawer slides, etc.). After asking them to come back out to address these items, some were done, some were done badly, and some still remained unfinished despite Otro Rollo telling us they were done.
Some work was done poorly, cutting corners and adding additional cost for us- i.e. the dishwasher installation. Instead of installing a new outlet, they merely plugged the dishwasher into an existing switched outlet for the garbage disposal, and unplugged the garbage disposal. I now need to pay an electrician to do the work correctly so that I can use both my dishwasher and my garbage disposal.
Garbage left behind- Despite discussing it before work began, a huge pile of garbage was left in our garage. After asking them to come back, they agreed it was supposed to be done, and sent a picture that it was picked up. This picture carefully avoided the remaining garbage (i.e. plywood, metal plate) that was still left behind for us to deal with.
The issues go on, i.e. they couldn't find matching drawer pulls for our new cabinets, so they didn't bother to install anything, or even mention it. It wasn't until after they were done and I asked about the missing hardware that they said they couldn't find the right ones & gave up.
Overall, we're glad to have the work done, but will not be using Otro Rollo again for our next project. Too many details were missed, too many things were left incomplete after they said they were done, and too many corners were cut for the price we paid.
