Fox Point Independent Assisted Living

My mother has been living at Courtyard since May of 2023. The facility is warm and welcoming. The common area's are an extention of your apartment to gather with friends and family. My mother is now in need of assistance from nursing staff and caregivers. They are helpful and kind. The meals, are in need of some updates. But I hear they are working on this. I wish the was a better discretion of the food being served, and a few more options in veggies and sides. Options for people that are diabetic. The one other thing is there needs to be more actively. All in all my mother is happy and in good hands.

After looking at a handful of places for my father, I found The Courtyard most appealing. Its been over two years since we moved in, and Im very satisfied. Its recently changed hands to new ownership and its improved once again. My father has had a garage and kept his vehicle there, he can come and go as he pleases. He has made a slew of friends and he enjoys living there. They have activities every day and a slew of games, puzzles, books in the library. All of the staff has been wonderful. They keep a nice clean facility and communicate very well, keeping me informed. Highly recommended. Very Pleased!!

I had the opportunity to visit and tour the facility. It is absolutely beautiful. Jodi goes out of her way to make the residents happy. She places their personal items throughout the facility so they always feel at home no matter where they are in the facility.

I am in the process of looking for some assistance for one of my parents. Jodi has been responsive with my questions and concerns. She answered all of my emails and sent me information as requested. I had a ton of questions because my parent lives out of state at this time, so there would be coordination of insurance and benefits that are a concern for me. I did a quick tour of the location a few weeks ago. It was pretty nice. Looks like they are doing some renovations on some floors to replace flooring/paint. The rooms are not huge but seems ample depending on the person's needs. There is a calendar of activities for the residents. It's nice there are a lot of options for folks to do some activities. I'm not sure when I will be needing the facility for my parent, but I am glad to have gotten a good idea of the location and how it would fit for my family.

I moved my dad here after a memory lapse and the whole team reached out to know him despite his introversion. They guided me in all stages of his care including when memory care was needed. They were kind, they took great care of him and were true team to me. Could not love this team more!
