Food: 3 Decor: 3 Service: 2 I came here for a company buffet-style dinner. The food was mediocre, and service was a bit disappointing since I had to request for water.

Horrible food. My wife and I got two appetizers, neither of them were any good. The nachos were poor quality and the crab legs had a raunchy smell. The beer was okay, not too many choices. Our service was horrible. They automatically charged me (party of 2) an 18% tip, and since our service was that bad, I was very ticked off.

I've been to this bar twice in the past year. Every time I've gone it's been a weeknight around 9pm. The place is somewhat empty and there is usually a bartender and a waitress. The bartender would rather sit at the bar than be behind it and the waitress would rather play on her iphone and flirt with the bartender than check in on anyone. Your thirst is quenched to their convenience unless you're willing to chase them down. I came in expecting to have three beers and ended up only having one because it took so long to receive service. The first time I came in it was the same problem but I probably had more of an issue with the bartender closing out my tab in a timely manner. I never pay in cash but I didn't want to risk having to wait another 25 minutes for the guy to ring that up and bring it back. My other complaint (which is tolerable if it weren't for the poor service) is that all their beers are a bit on the sweet side to me. Likewise it seems as though none of their beers have been dry hopped to any significant degree. I'm a brewer and these are qualities I look for after years of experimentation. The beers are good enough to appreciate, however, nothing special in my opinion.

I work and live right around the corner from this place, and I have to say that I have yet to have a bad experience. The space is very nice (if not cavernous) and the staff is warm and friendly. Sometimes, service can be slow, but I've never been one to complain about having a bit more time to sample some craft beer and enjoy the company I'm with. That is especially true in the summer months when you can get seating out in the beer garden. It's a perfect way to spend an afternoon, or wind down after a long day at work. In short, it's a great place for a nice sit down meal, but it's probably not a place to go if you're rushed - though at the lunch hour they're much better about this. The bar staff can make a good drink, and on a few occasions the owner has come out from the kitchen to check on us, talk hockey, and get feedback about future menu offerings. Karaoke on Wednesday nights is nice, and it seems like a good place to hold an event. I'm hosting an event there in September, so we'll see how things go. Overall, worth a look in, and if your experience is anything like mine you'll be back.
