Hime & Kabot Ltd

Got 3 wisdom teeth removed and had such a horrible experience dealing with Dr. Hime. Went in there with a perfect smile, now I have a slant on my right side. I was upset and had questions for her, and the way she responded to me was unprofessional. I would recommend looking elsewhere for wisdom removal. As I felt she was defensive and didn't make me feel better after leaving my week checkup.

I would highly recommend this office. From Mary at the front office, to the nurses and Dr Kabot. They were so nice and personable. They took the time to sit with us and explain the procedure from start to end. Dr Kabot even called to see how my son was after the surgery that night. This was the second Dr's office we went to for a consultation and am so glad we went with them.

We are very happy with the quality of care received with our son's wisdom tooth removal in October 2021. Their financial policy sucks though. The estimated cost of the procedure and followup was $4500 and their nurse or office manager requested $2400 on the day of surgery, saying it was the estimated part that was not covered by our full coverage insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and Delta Dental. I know for a fact that our coverage is more than 50 percent and questioned why they were requesting cash up front before the procedure was even performed and before anything was submitted to insurance, and they reduced the cash prepayment amount to $1500, which we paid. Just received a check from Hime and Kabot for $1600....5 months later....Hmmmm seems they were paid in full by the insurance because we had met our deductible and had 100 percent coverage. Which they should have and could have verified with the insurance before demanding a huge cash payment in advance. That's just ridiculous.

Called Hime and Kabot on Monday, told them I had to have a tooth pulled and that it was infected.  Got an appointment for two days later.  I have been seeing Dr. Kabot off and on since 2014.  Dr. Kabot is extremely friendly, and a great listener.  Takes great care to make sure you are comfortable.  Explains what is going to happen and why.  It was going to be a difficult extraction because of the tooth had a crown on it.  Its now been 15 hrs later, very little pain, and the swelling has gone down.  Got there 15 minutes early, and they took me in right on time.   Never had to do any long waiting.  Sam your review is not very good, but Dr. Kabot is, along with his staff!

Dr. Kabot is amazing! What a kind, warm and caring man he is. His staff is also the best! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my hubby today during his extraction. Your kindness and compassion was truly appreciated.
