M&G Unique Construction

This work was completed in January 2021, but we held off on this review due to procrastination. Most have heard the horror stories of contractors that take money and run. We heard of Manny through my wife's colleague. This was our first ever remodel and we had no idea what to expect. Manny was with us every step of the way. He came in, we talked, and we said "let's wait" a few times. He was very patient and never pushed us in one direction or another. A year after we originally spoke with him, we told him we were ready. He helped us with ideas for our kitchen remodel. He introduced us to his contacts who could take care of many details that we hadn't even considered. He came with us to Studio 21 to discuss cabinets, which I wouldn't expect a contractor to do. Manny helped us plan for the future as well. We knew what to expect, making it easier. He was also great at improvising when things didn't go quite as planned. He was also very responsive to us when we had an issue. We'd definitely use him again for our next project! Manny was extremely professional, kind, informative, and all of the above is backed by extensive knowledge of how to complete a project properly. Highly reccomend.

Manny rocks in many ways: - finished the project as promised time frame. - trustworthy, he took care of the project while I was out of town and kept me informed while any issue came out and resolved it. - excellent quality job done. -always proactive and I don’t need to chase him. - the team ( Manny, John and designer Nancy) worked diligently. However, sometimes we have to communicate for some disagreement, just like most of the remodeling projects can face, as long as we can find the resolution. The only thing I was not happy about this project is that I am not satisfied with the quality and design of the Waypoint cabinet ( designed and ordered by a cabinet designer at Design Context in libertyville) and the quality of the granite counter top from Selectsurfaces. I should have had followed Manny’s referral to go with the Kenosha granite shop (I used it on my previous remodeling project). Overall, I highly recommend M&G!!!
