Robert was referred to my wife and I by a mutual friend. We needed to have drafted a will, trust and corporation documents for each of us and after meeting with Robert back in late November, we were able to sign all necessary documents as of today. Robert was helpful and even provided some additional opinions as what we should do with our liability insurance and life-insurance policies that we acted upon in the best interest of our estate planning. Robert was easy to work with and recommend him and his firm.

My uncle passed away in Lake County, Illinois and I was named executor. I needed a good probate attorney to open his estate and answer the questions of numerous family members scattered across the county. Glad I found attorney Robert J. Kolasa to handle the job. Robert opened the probate estate and did a great job of keeping everyone informed. He helped me handle everything, including taxes and the migration of assets from a corporate trustee. Robert J. Kolasa helped my mother amend her living trust estate plan and we were both very pleased with his expertise and tax knowledge. When Mom died at age 100, Robert helped me file her estate tax returns with the IRS and Illinois without a tax audit. As a former IRS attorney, Robert really knew his business. He also assisted me in administering the trusts Mom set up for family members, who are located here in the states as well as in Ireland. He was always prompt in answering questions either by phone or e-mail. He is now helping with my estate planning. Mom and I were both very happy to find Robert as our attorney.
