Fairfield Inn by Marriott Joliet South

Stayed here 3/24/2024. Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Our neighbors were being a little loud, and the night desk person took care of it.

They have posted in several places if youre not happy well make it right . We were not happy and no offers to make things right. The room were ok. We had 6 rooms reserved most of them did not have enough towels. Some of them were not cleaned properly. The whole reason we chose this location is because of the advertised hot tub. When we mentioned it on check in they told us oh they were supposed to removed the photos on the web site. No offers of reduced pricing when we told them that the whole reason we chose this location is because of the hot tub. We could have stayed at a competition hotel. For less money. Then when I came down to get 24 hour coffee this morning it was ice cold. The desk clerk said its brewing and when I asked how long it would be he walked right in the back and brought it out. No telling how long it was sitting back there because it still wasnt t what iwould call hot by any means. Then I asked for a napkin he said we are out and waiting for a shipment I suggested he go and get some of the paper towels they use in the bathroom down the hall the napkins magically appear. Then when breakfast was ready there was no spray for the waffle maker and we had to dig it out with plastic silverware that kept melting. All of this because the timer didnt work on the unit to tell when it was ready. It over 10 minutes. I wouldnt stay at this location again

I quickly booked a room here for one of my grandparents who was traveling through the area & made the mistake of booking the wrong date. I called & the front desk clerk was very kind/ friendly (I apologize for not remembering name) & assisted me in a last minute date switch... super accommodating. Noteworthy details: Very kind & friendly staff!
