I placed an order with Walter E. Smith out of The Merrillville Indiana store on December 21 of 2023. We were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks for our custom furniture it is now 10 weeks and the only reason that we've heard anything from them is because we have contacted them. They told us that they've been sending emails with up dates all along but The only emails we've received are of different promotions and there was nothing about our furniture. When we contacted the sales person, they had to get back to us several times. We called corporate to explain what is going on. The customer service is absolutely terrible with this company. We have not received the furniture as of yet, but we have gotten a promise for partial order as soon as possible, but the other half of the order that won't be until June. Spoke with the corporate office , just more promises of waiting longer. At this point, we would be happy with just getting our money back and a refund from this terrible company is not an option so they say. You would think that spending over $10,000 for furniture you would be treated much better. Buyer beware.
