If you want to work for Jewel Osco, you better say goodbye to your personal life because you won't have one while working for Jewel. Jewel claims that you are "required" to be available on weekends. You will miss out on family and social events in your life because they will still schedule you to work even if you request it off. You pretty much get penalized if you have to call off for personal reasons or for a FAMILY EMERGENCY. All that matters to them is you coming into work. I would watch out at certain stores on how grocery employees stock the shelves. Because most stores just put product wherever it can fit. The reason for that is because management and even STORE DIRECTORS don't like having overstock in their back rooms. Shows how much they care. Specifically, the Jewel Osco in Hickory Hills, IL! Jewel should be one of those businesses that should be closed on at least Sundays to give employees time for themselves or to be with family. There are plenty of other grocery stores people can go to on Sundays.

Placed a home delivery from the Kirk Road St. Charles, IL store the day after the ad came out for next day delivery . I placed an order for several items plus a cook's ham (approx 5 lbs) for $.79/lb. Never said it was low inventory or out. Order delivered next day with a 2lb ham priced at $7.99 lb. This was for a family Easter dinner of 7 people. The ad even had 2 other hams on sale for less than $3. These whole hams could have been easily substituted. Got a friend to take me to Meijer across town for the first time. What a better store and prices.

ark store is the pure definition of rudeness and aggression. Grabbed the phone from my hand offending me verbally and raising her voice because I dared to tell her that my coupon was valid for 4 redemptions. This is so disgusting

Today, a "one day" sale was advertised forBelvita cookies and Folders Coffee. I trudged out after clipping my coupons,
in 25 below wind chills and through the unloved parking lot, did some shopping and when checking out, found the coupons " not accepted " in store? The small print CLEARLY stated In Store. The rude salesperson did nothing to help, but insisted I go home, order Online and drive back to pick up. Ridiculous as it was, I tried ordering On Line, and found there's a $ 3.95 service charge to pick up. What kind of Scam is this. I need an explanation.
