We hired BMB insulation to add about 12 inches of blown cellulose insulation (R-39) across 1300 sq ft of a 100 year old, semi-vented attic space. Jose came within a day, went into the attic for a visual inspection, and provided a very reasonable quote at the end. He could have his team there within a week. Excellent customer service. Responds to texts right away. We thought we'd save some money by doing our own prep work - foam sealing chases and top-plates, installing baffles, preparing barriers around hvac - which took the better part of a day. We learned they would have done all of that for alot less than my time and personal cost was worth. And working in an attic is very dirty work. So excellent price for how involved it is to do this well.
