image There are no words great enough to give this school, its teachers, and its administration the praise and attention they all deserve. Our daughter has been attending Old School Montessori for the past two years, and to say that we are extremely impressed and in awe of all that these educators do for children would still be an understatement. Being a teacher myself, I know all too well how difficult it can be to create an environment that fosters true learning and engagement, but these teachers have done it. They provide so many opportunities for their students, not only in academics, but in a very real awareness of their world in all of its diversity. Students are given the chance all throughout the year to participate in charitable programs and take time to thoughtfully try to make our world a better place to be. Our daughter is challenged in the classroom and comes home sharing something new she’s learned every day. We have zero doubt in our minds that, when the time comes, she will be more than prepared to be successful in any academic path she chooses to pursue, and we know that this is because of the incredible education she is receiving at Old School. Her teachers provide regular feedback and suggestions for supporting her learning at home. Whenever we have needed to reach Admin, they have been immediately available and have gone above and beyond to help. We are excited to see what else this school and its amazing staff has planned for our daughter, because we know, whatever it is, it will be a sight to see! Thank you to all of you at Old School Montessori, for all that you do, every single day, to create our leaders for tomorrow. We are so grateful and lucky to be a part of your story.

image Felt like my son had a good education, but the administration is VERY demanding of the parents and not very interested in the day-to-day goings on of the classroom or students. Always taking off extra days or hours just before breaks, making requests for supplies just a couple of days prior, only allowing for one-way communication, getting the parents to watch the kids so they could give their teachers a party; honestly the list goes on! I had to keep bringing disciplinary issues to their attention because they were so out of touch. Parents, don't be fooled! The management is not vested in your kids or the community, just their image.

image What a wonderful learning community! With the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are so grateful for the agility in the Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) program to offer high quality learning in the most child-directed manner that remote learning could offer. Our children have attended OSM over the past 3 years and the they have flourished with the Montessori approach and the caring learning environment.
