My husband and I were referred to this clinic. Dr. Soma is the first person we met with. After the initial consultation he recommended acupuncture and massage for me. My husband was not interested in acupuncture, so he was recommended massage for him. We made our first appointment with 'their best guy' (I'll call him Eric). I had never done acupuncture before, so I was nervous. Eric began the acupuncture treatment without taking any time to explain to me what he was going to be doing. He obviously did not read our file from our first consultation because he had no idea that my husband was not due to have acupuncture treatment, and proceeded to give him the treatment. I had heard of acupuncture that just used needles, so when voltage was attached to the needles and my muscles started twitching like crazy, it was really overwhelming, and once again unexpected. He then proceeded to leave me there for about 40 minutes, checking on me once. Eric had forgotten to turn on music for me (music designed to help you relax) and the room right next to me was the bathroom, so I got hear lovely sounds of peeing and flushing the entire time. Eric then proceeded to give us specialized homeopathic 'injections' for temporary muscle pain relief that 'sports teams' use, yet again this was unexpected. My husband says that Eric was telling about costs and pricing in the midst of putting needles in his back, also not very relaxing. I feel like Eric rushed through everything, and was TOTALLY lacking professionalism about his work. Later, we got very interesting claim letters from insurance showing all this additional work that we never had done. This place appears nice, but I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated as a person, and I’ve never gone back since.
