Hokkai Sushi

Great atmosphere, got my sushi fast and it was delicious! I got the all you can eat and it was definitely worth it. I never had to ask for a refill which was a plus!

Good food, offers all you can eat, called for reservation but was asked to walk in for parties of 2 or less. We were seated right away and food came out quick. Server did seem to rush the bill toward the end but overall ok experience, decent pricing.

This review is pertaining to events that transpired on March 23, 2024 at 7:13 pm. My wife and myself went out for dinner here and were welcomed by great service from the Latino staff there. The issue was with the oldest Asian servicer came to retrieve the menu from our table. She demanded the menu from us as she raised her voice. She did not ask nicely for it. I felt like I was being scolded. The key thing was seeing how she was treating the other tables around us which were non BIPOC. Upon noticing this I asked our server who welcomed us if she typically acts like this with people of the BIPOC community to which she answered yes. As the server tried to apologize for her co workers actions we said they had nothing to apologize for, as this was not their fault. The manager came and apologized bc she knew exactly who we were referring to as this is not the first time this happens with said server. Despite the apology we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant as it is NOT a safe space for BIPOC folks.
