Horrible service we had reservation at 530 and they dident have a table, and let a reservation for 6 go befor us, the hostes was very rude, manager was no help, they gave treatment to others after we came in. Do not eat here

We go to Ju Rin every year for my Birthday- they always made you feel special, and really went out of their way to make it a wonderful experience, the food is always awesome- over the years recently, they stopped taking your picture to commemorate your experience. Then they stopped giving out a fresh rose cutting, now apparently they even cut out the beautiful Bir thday dessert! I would always recommend this place for special occasions, because they went above and beyond, and tonight we felt rushed as well. I'm really disappointed.

My family had been looking forward to celebrating my son's 17th birthday at JuRin in Geneva, IL. However, our experience with the restaurant left us thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. We made a reservation for 11 people a week in advance, specifically mentioning that it was for a birthday celebration and confirming our preference to be seated together at one table. Upon arrival at JuRin, we were made to wait for about 10 minutes before being led to a table that was clearly insufficient for our group size. Despite our reservation and prior confirmation, the host attempted to seat us at a table meant for 8 people at most. When my husband raised concerns about the cramped seating arrangement, the host simply reiterated that we had confirmed our preference for one table over the phone. However, the lack of clarity during the reservation process led to a misunderstanding, as we did not expect to be squeezed into a table clearly inadequate for our group. Despite our protests and the obvious discomfort that would arise from such a setup, the host showed no flexibility or willingness to accommodate our party with a larger table. Disheartened by the lack of consideration and customer service, we made the decision to leave the restaurant. As a result of this disappointing experience, we have no intention of returning to JuRin. It's unfortunate that what was meant to be a joyous celebration turned into a frustrating ordeal due to the restaurant's mishandling of our reservation and seating arrangements. We would caution others to clarify seating arrangements thoroughly when making reservations at JuRin to avoid similar disappointments. Overall, our experience at JuRin was marred by poor communication, inflexibility, and a lack of customer-centric service. We will be seeking alternative venues for future celebrations.
