We have had several transactions with Marsha Wallace and have nothing but good things to say about her.  Regarding this previous poor review from Shawn B. in 2017 - from what you say, Marsha represented the OTHER party in the transaction, not you. You should have been seeking guidance from YOUR OWN AGENT.  Our experience with Marsha was that she gave us several referrals for home inspectors, radon companies, etc., but she NEVER claimed to have negotiated a "good deal" on our behalf. Again, these recommendations should have come from YOUR AGENT. And, as she did with us, she probably gave you the name of a radon person that her clients had used before and reported that they thought they got a good price there.  Any recommendations that I receive from someone, I contact that person myself. Who would expect the person giving the recommendation to be the one to contact and negotiate a price on your behalf, especially when you weren't their client?  Even when I DO receive a recommendation for someone, it's my responsibility to check them out, compare prices, check their reviews and see what other people have said.The situation you experienced with the sellers turning off the gas prematurely was not Marsha's fault or responsibility (again, this is not in the wheelhouse of responsibility for a seller's agent, and she probably had no knowledge that they had done it), but it sure sounds like she took action and contacted Nicor for you to correct the issue before the pipes froze. Again, in my opinion, this is something that you or YOUR AGENT should have been taking care of.We have known Marsha both professionally and personally for many years. I am positive that she never would have been "blatantly dishonest or deceptive" or told anyone "not my problem" (although, technically, it wasn't, since you weren't HER clients) or "buyer beware".  She has always been the utmost professional and responded quickly and appropriately if there were any potential issues with our transaction.  We always have and always will recommend Marsha to all of our friends and family!P.S. - Shawn B., I notice that half of the reviews you've written are 1-star reviews. Something seems amiss there.
