Brandon stopped by promptly to furnish a comprehensive estimate and was very professional. The tree trimming and removal job was finished as promised. Before the crew left the foreman took me on a walk-through and responded immediately to last minute touch ups I requested. Would highly recommend Joe Meyer Tree Service and consider utilizing their services in the future.

I hired Joe Meyer tree service for our townhome community. As the president of the HOA I received bids for the project. We have 330 units and it was a very large job. They were hired not only for their price, but for their reputation. There was tree trimming involved but also the removal of several large pines. The crew was experienced and did a great job. Brandon was in touch with me letting me know how everything was going. When the job was completed you never knew they were here. Very professional company to work with.

Don't use these guys or if you do get everything in writing! Was quoted a price of $600 for a service. I told the guy I had someone scheduled to come out two days later that would do the same work for $450 so he said he could do it that day and we settled on a price of $475. He completed the work but never let me know he was done; I just noticed I didn't hear him anymore and when I glanced outside, his truck was gone. Over two weeks later I receive an invoice for $600. I called the company and after playing phone tag for a couple of days finally spoke to a guy who claimed he was the owner. I explained the situation and he said they don't negotiate prices; if the guy quoted me $600 they would not have come down from that price. I told him I'm not sure of their policies but that's exactly what happened and I explained in detail the interaction. He said if he (the owner) had been there he would have charged $1200 for what they did so I really got a deal for $600. I told him first of all it didn't matter what he would have charged, the fact is that the agreement was for $475 and second of all if he had quoted me $1200 I would never had used them as both of the other companies I had contacted had given me prices in the $450-$500 range but just couldn't come out for a few days; I could have easily waited two days to save $700. He essentially called me a liar and said the $600 price was what was texted to me. I challenged him to show me where they sent me a text with a price....the only text I ever received from them was asking for my address. Eventually he conceded that they hadn't texted me a price but he knows that his employee had given me a price of $600. After about a ten minute conversation he told me to pay whatever I wanted or don't pay at all, they'd been in business for years and weren't going to argue over $600. I told him that $125 wouldn't make or break me but it's about a business being accountable to their word. I sent them payment for $475. I have probably $3000-$4000 worth of tree work coming up but this experience ensures I will not be using them. Service: Tree stump removal

What a great service company! Upon first reaching out, Brandon answered all of my questions. He promptly stopped by and wrote a bid for the removal of two trees in the front of my property. The bid was a very fair price. But price wasnt my only criteria. I hired them because they have decades of experience and great online reviews too! Within a couple of days, we were scheduled. The crew showed up promptly this morning and with great precision removed a spruce and a maple that were both dying and impinging upon my new roof and siding. All three guys on this crew have upwards of 30 years of experience in the business. And it showed! They worked like a well-oiled machine. Cleanup was ongoing throughout the process as they shredded every branch and all of the trunks. They even trimmed my crab apple before they left! Ive hired a lot of businesses over decades of homeownership. Its rare in this day and age to find a company that is that good at what they do, with reasonable prices, and expedited service.
