L.A. TAN

I went to this location for the first time and I honestly loved it, it was clean unlike the other la tans and the lady who works there I believe her name was Semira was extremely helpful and honest! She definitely made sure I got what I wanted and also sold me an awesome lotion that I love! I definitely will be coming back to this location much more then the other locations!

I am a loyal LA Tan member, and I have nothing but great things to say about the chain, especially the Round Lake Beach and Deerfield/Northbrook locations. The staff members at the Evanston location are always friendly and wonderful. However, I have tried to go to this location multiple times during normal posted business hours on a Saturday or Sunday to find it completely closed. If the salon isn't open, change the hours you have posted online. It is kind of a hassle to park in the public parking garage next door (street parking is difficult/impossible here), get your ticket, and walk over to the salon just to find out they are closed when they are supposed to be open. This has happened to me 6-7 times over the last year, to the point where I would be willing to drive out 10-15 minutes to another LA Tan location just because I know that when I get there, they will actually be open.

Worst experience ever. Some nerve of the lady working in their I believe her name was Semira. She tried selling me a promo of 30% off. When I bought the lotion, it looked like it was already used. I paid with my credit card she had charged me the full price and not the 30% off like she advised. She didn’t sound knowledgeable about which lotion I should use. She recommended I use a darker lotion when my skin is already pale. I got burned pretty bad it took 2 weeks to recover. Overall the people that work their are dumb and don’t know how to give any good recommendations at all.

This place is a dump. The bed I tried was old and cracked. I had a tan free coupon but it was anything but free. The girl said I had to buy one of their overpriced little packets of lotion in order to use the coupon. There was nothing on the website or coupon that said that, but she insisted. I got absolutely NO color from the bed I tried. Don't waste ur money or time going here.

Love going there when Sarah S. is working! She's super friendly and always upbeat. The beds are always clean and they always WORK!
