Carle Eureka Hospital

I have gone there twice both times doctor and nurses very rude and unprofessional. The second time I went there I was in a great deal of pain in my stomach with out asking any questions or doing anything to assess my health history or current medical conditions the nurse gave me a drink that made me throw up witch just made me feel worse. I then decided to leave and go to a real hospital in Peoria where they evaluated me ran some tests and found I had a previously unknown ulcer. As a patient your better off driving the distance to Peoria where the staff know what their doing.

The ER leaves a lot to be desired. However, there is much more to the hospital than the ER. I have spent a week in the swing bed unit and they are the nicest nurses Ive ever had. I get all my lab work and radiology needs done at Eureka Hospital. Reception and scheduling are kind and helpful. All in all if Carle Eureka can do it I go to them! Would be lost with out them.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. Hands down. Went in with a severe infection on my side from a spider bite or staph (not sure because they told me it was three different things when I went in all 3 times). Had to go to OSF because it continued getting worse. When my dad came to help me at Eurekas hospital, the doctor told me it was from my underwear and thats why I had a gaping hole on my side!!! When my dad asked again what it was, the male nurse was so unbelievably rude and ended up calling the cops. Have never been so appalled. They should be shut down and those doctors/that nurse should lose their license. I pray for the people who have to go to them.

Been here for an hour and a half for a knee injury. Still sitting in a waiting room for a "room to be cleaned". Another young mam just came in with a cut tendon on his hand on extreme pain and is still sitting. Knee injury is so painful he can't sleep, stand, sit or lay down. Totally unacceptable. The only reason they are getting one star is because we have no less options. This is becoming a common occurrence. Will no longer be coming to local ER or urgent care.
