Mark and his Crew installed new Quartz countertops in our kitchen and our bar area. His crew was on time or early for each of the installs. We also had a farm sink in the kitchen installed and plumbed by his craftsman. The job was great and everything looks and works as expected. We are extremely happy with the install itself and also with the price. It beat all other bids by a good amount. I highly recommend Mark and his company.

We've all heard those horror stories about bad contractors and botched remodels. Well, this isn't one of them. We decided to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms, so we researched reputable companies - using the popular home project review websites, Googling and combing through reviews, asking around, the usual. We made a list of about eight contractors and we met with six of them. There were two that we liked but Mark's ideas and attention to detail were better during the consultation, so we hired him to remodel our bathrooms. It's important to note that we made the first large payment with our credit card, really because we were afraid of hiring a contractor and having them disappear after we paid them. We were very cautious. After that first payment and spending some time with Mark and his crews, we were happy to write him checks when he asked because he had earned our trust. In fact, we had a punch list of some minor items after the jobs were completed, and Mark made sure everything was taken care of immediately, and this was after our final payment had already been made. His crews were on time every day and worked hard the whole time they were here. We liked the quality of their work and the materials they used so much, we had them stay and replace our basement floor. We then moved on to our other large project, our kitchen remodel. We trusted Mark and his crews so much that we gave them full access to our home while we were out on vacation. A pipe burst during that week, and one of Mark's men noticed it right away and fixed it immediately (Mark ran out to buy the needed plumbing supplies), preventing the basement from flooding and saving us quite a lot of money and frustration. We are first time remodelers, so we were asking questions and changing things throughout, yet Mark and his crews were incredibly patient, flexible, and professional. I can't recommend Mark and Modern View enough. We LOVE our sparkling new kitchen and bathrooms! A contractor who is honest, talented, professional, charges a very fair price, and is such a nice man. Hire him, you won't regret it. (In this day and age, you can expect a lot of fake reviews. We did not receive any compensation or discounts for writing this review.)

Mark was knowledgeable and professional. His installer, John, was outstanding and a true craftsman. Final payment was not expected until completion. I have recommended ModernView to several other people.

10/28/2017Image indicator When they installed all cabinets we noticed that one cabinet door was damaged and made the deal for them to replace it in next 2-3 weeks. I waited for 2 months and no one called me to schedule installation of new cabinet door. Then I started calling Mark every 3-4 weeks for an update when my door will be replaced. I got all kinds of answers, from Mark's surprise how come cabinet company never replaced the door, trough his absence from the USA, to his promises that he will replace the door next week, then next week and so on... On the other hand, John who works for Mark, is by far the best craftsman I have ever worked with. Description of work: I remodeled two and a half baths in my home 6 months ago and they never finished the job even though I paid for entire project ($10.000).
