I have taken two of Wayne’s classes: Intro to handguns and his Conceal and Carry class. BOTH were excellent! He has an unapologetically forthright style that instills an appreciation of the complexities of owning a firearm. He is incredibly knowledgeable- backed by decades of experience and a genuine love of teaching. He inspired me to grow in my knowledge and use of firearms. He means it when he says no question is a dumb one. He has received all my inquiries with patience and a clear desire to do whatever it takes for me to become a competent and responsible firearm owner. Take his classes!! Instructors like Wayne are a gift to the world. You won’t regret it.

The instructor Wayne made the CC renewal class very comfortable. He shared his experience and knowledge along with reviewing all the laws and the changes that have come along. Great class and instructor.

Wayne was a great instructor who knew the topics/laws well but still remained very personable. Very professional and well worth the time/money. My father and I will be going back to Safe Shot Firearm Academy for further training.

I had the privilege of working with Wayne and Safe Shot Firearm Academy. What a great experience it was. The service I used included both private lesson Instruction and group classroom based. Wayne was very professional and definitely has the experience and patience required to teach firearms. I would recommend his services to anyone regardless of experience level. Thank you Wayne for helping me improve and I look forward to future training.
