I was a proud staff member of El Paso Health Care for a few years. I didn't have to work, I wanted to and quickly learned the work and felt my job was to be there for the resident's and their families. It was with great regret that I left, and even greater regret to learn my replacement wasn't committed to the job, but rather, studied and did their homework all day. When I visited one day, post end of pandemic, I was in awe at the stack, I mean STACK of DHS mail that clearly was not opened. I wonder how many resident's have lost their Medicaid due to ignoring that mail. The facility wont get paid if there is no Medicaid. My heart breaks for the residents and their families who entrust the facility to maintain their insurance. For shame.

This place I live in is a dump. They don't care about there residents food allergies and fix whatever they want and then your forced to eat cereal 24-7. They don't care if you're toilet works or if you have air conditioning. They need to shut this place down just for the bugs in your food. I wouldn't send a sick dog there let alone a loved one.
