Parkers' Restaurant & Bar

We were in a big hurry and from out of town . . . Google maps sent us here. We walked in at 5:20 and asked the hostess stand if they could get us out by 6:10. She "If you're willing to sit in the lounge" - we were. We told our waiter Tim that we were in a hurry and boy did he deliver. We placed our order at 5:25 (a soup and three entrees) and the Lobster Bisque arrived by 5:30. Entrees (a lobster ravioli, grilled Faroe Island Salmon and a 7 oz. Fillet) were on the table by 5:50. Everything was wonderful. My teenager son is a culinary student and couldn't stop raving about his steak. I stopped to speak to the manager about the fast service on my way out the door at 5:58 and I swear he blushed. We don't get to Downers Grove often (it's 3 hours from home) but next time we are, we'll try a more leisurely meal.

The food and drinks here are immaculate. Dave the bartender makes amazing drinks that are very complementing, strong, and delicious. We found our new go to restaurant. Thank you so much Dave!!! - Steve and Z

Atmosphere is comforting and lively. Food is well prepared and delicious. Service staff is fantastic. Always helpful and attentive but never hovering.
