Playa del Sol Mexican Restaurant

My wife and I were looking for a new Mexican Restaurant and found Playa del Sol online. It had 5 reviews and 4 stars so we decided to check it out. Now admittedly it was a little early for dinner 4:30 but we were the only people in the place besides the waitress, bartender and who I assume where the waitress' daughters. And that should have been our first warning. Anyways, the restaurant seemed clean and the decor was very welcoming and festive. But unfortunately, the food and margaritas were terrible. The salsa... and I am being very generous by calling it salsa, was pathetic. If you drained out the liquid from a tub of pico de gallo it would have been better. We then ordered 2 Gold (premium liquor) frozen strawberry margaritas and there wasn't a trace of alcohol in those drinks. We didn't even want to bother ordering dinner and promptly left after we finished our virgin daiquiris. There is a good reason why the place was deserted; because it's awful and I doubt that many people are duped into going back there again. I know I won't be and I thought that there should be a more accurate review online compared to the few comments that were obviously posted by people associated with the restaurant.
