Let’s start with the good... The guys on first shift at both water facilities are great guys. They’re all under 30 yrs. old, except for one, and they work hard with what they have. That’s it. The gentlemen that run this place irresponsibly and blindly place their allegiance in friends that they’ve known. Those friends have wasted thousands of dollars, maybe hundreds of thousands with badly designed facilites (Greenwood), payroll (milking the clock), breaking equipment, and not building facilties to be effecient (1040 has room for another box). Even more money is wasted on buying flimsy hoses that break or leak frequently, which costs them more manpower hours, because they have to improvise, fix the hoses, and clean up the mess. Second shift is vastly slower than first shift, and trucks back up during their early hours. There’s no way of telling which bays are open at Greenwod, and it’s a simple fix with cheap cameras for the staff, and lights for the drivers. There aren’t enough bathrooms, soap, tissue, and paper towels run out frequently, and you would think a holder for the paper towels would be an easy job to tackle. Nope, it’s just another list of things that the four VPs overlook or are severely out of touch with. If they had competition, they’d be struggling for business, but because they don’t, they show their employees and customers they don’t care on a daily basis. If their first shift guys get fed up, and decide to leave, the customers are in for even more frustration. However, they show the same amount of blind loyalty to the owners that they do to their wasteful friends. UPDATE: 11/2021 WITS has been sold, and it's gotten worse than ever. The new company that owns it has run off several of their former employees. The other reviewer that gave this company 5 stars is one of the former employees, and also the son of one of the former owners; he quit after being told that he could take a paid paternity leave, and the company rescinded their decision. The transportation manager, three truck drivers, and several employees that work in their treatment facilities have quit. Several of those vacancies have not been filled, which is mostly due to non-competitive salaries; they can't pay truck drivers enough, and resorted to re-hiring former employees who were fired. They've approached former employees who quit, but like I said, they have non-competitive pay. Their newest facility (1040) isn't being utilized, because they don't have enough full-time employees to run it simultaneously with their oldest and slowest building (Greenwood). The Kenosha facility is no longer in operation due to the city revoking their permit to operate; rumor has it that they treated hazardous materials. None of the issues in my previous review have been addressed. The bathroom/locker room is disgusting. The new employees that have been hired, do not last long, rush way too much, and make several mistakes. The only changes that have been made are new vending machines, and a new company pick up truck. The smaller trucks that frequent here, ignorantly park in front of the bay doors, which makes it difficult for the semis to exit the premises. The place is not only mismanaged, it's chaotic, unorderly, filthy, and if things continue like this, on the brink of going out of business. One could assume that once a competitor offers better service, it won't be long before their doors are shuttered.
