DM Tree Service

This is the first time I have ever called a "Tree Service" in the 30+ years I have lived at this residence...so I did not know what to expect.I got quotes from 3 different companies, not a huge difference in pricing.What resonated with me the most...was David and Kurt, what a team they are.  Their knowledge, and the crew, and the job they did...made me extremely happy that I went with them!!!The other two places that came out and quoted were referrals from Next Door, our neighborhood newsfeed.    But DM Tree Service was local to Des Plaines, and I would encourage anyone looking for this type of service...to check them out. Working with DM Tree Service was great from start to finish. The girl in the office was very nice and David and the crew made quick work of the tree that I needed to have taken down due to being damaged in a storm. They were competitively priced and David was very knowledgeable when he came to give the estimate. I highly recommend using them. Services: Tree removal, Tree stump grinding

Not goodWhere to start my neighbor hired thiscompany was supposed to be put inearly of August 2021 to trim our tree onhis side of the fence and by his house wehad a brand new patio put in in lateaugust 2021 and for some reason inOctober of 2021 David and his guys showup without permission without noticeand start butchering our entire tree onmy property and in the process leavingan entire mess throughout my yarddragging and cutting branches on abrand new 6 week old paver patiobranches falling breaking my string lightsinstead of having me remove them sothey can perform their work and crackingbricks just leaving a mess in my yard anddestroying our tree this all happenedwhile we were at work so when we gothome we said holy cow what happenedso we contacted or neighbor who wasn't home either when work was performedand got phone number and talked toDavid he said he would clean it upfollowing morning so I have him benefitof the doubt and he showed up on timetried cleaning scratches we're still visibleso we contacted our paving companygave us a quote and this spring they fixedit all now David is refusing to do anythingto make it right not paying for hismistakes or damage saying the brickswere already broken I have proof blahblah so now I'm out $3600 bucks becausehis crew has no common sense to layplywood down or walk around oranything! Terrible company who takesadvantage's of nice hardworking peopleand does what ever he wants!! What ajoke!!
