    These guys are great! Thought maybe I would have to buy a new vacuum. It was only clogged and they didnt charge me anything to unclog it. I dont know any business that do much free of charge any more. Thank you!!

    I've had systems installed from here for several homes. The owner and service people are great. You can brand new and refurbished equipment here. They have a large internet presence and you can buy on-line. Right off Rt-14/Northwest Hwy, located on the 1st floor. Easy to see from the street and next to the gas station on the corner with traffic light. Ample parking. I would recommend this store, and keep going back.

    I have an older Kenmore canister vac that still runs great, but a piece of plastic on the neck broke rendering it unusable. We weren't able to find a replacement part online and the generic equivalents (which might not work) were pricing over $120. I brought it into Mid America. They were able to find the part, repair it quickly, and only charged me $60 - over half of that for the part. The customer service was great, attentive, and personal. I highly recommend.

    Ive always been happy with the sales people here but needed a repair on a Dyson this time. Told me couple weeks to clean. I called and he said he would check and call back. Called and said I could pick up tomorrow. When I picked up he said it would be $160 . I said WOW! He rudely said well we called and told you that! I paid . I left but looked closer at vacuum. Yellow spots on hose. I knew I didnt have yellow spots on mine. I went back in and asked if this was mine. He was extremely disrespectful , yelling at me. Stating they dont mix up vacuums. I was shocked how a customer could be treated. Come to find out he might be the owner. Sad to say they lost a customer and will not recommend them to anyone with that attitude towards a paying customer. Unacceptable!!

We apologize for any issues you encountered with regards to the repair of your vacuum.When you initially dropped off your vacuum in late March, you were informed that once it was inspected we would call you with the price of the repair estimate. We then called you on April 12th and told you the total repair cost, which was then approved by you, for us to begin the repair. Per policy, we do not move forward with repairing vacuums until given the go ahead from the customer.When the repair was finished, the accompanying paperwork was affixed to your vacuum ensuring that we would not mix it up with any other machine. At this point, you were then contacted to state that your vacuum was ready for pickup and once again informed of the price. You then made no effort to contact us again or come into the store until nearly two and a half months later. At this point you claimed to have not been told the price when again, we would not even begin the repair until the cost was okayed by you. It was then that the conversation escalated when you suggested that we had possibly switched your machine with another or had somehow damaged the hose. We do not have any kind of substance on hand that would cause any kind of yellow spots to appear on your hose so it must have arrived to us originally in that condition.Additionally, it is store policy to only keep completed vacuums for 30 days without them being picked up but we stored yours on site for over two months longer than we are responsible for as a service to you.We once again apologize for the way this situation escalated on both of our parts, but we have proudly been in business in Crystal Lake for over 40 years and take pride in providing a service the community needs.
