I would like for it to be open to the public, I called to see if i would be able to get a few loafs of bread, and i was told, you only sell to stores. It would be nice, as you're the only bakery in the area.

We had their Ciabatta bread and it is simply wonderful. Unassuming in appearance, the taste is so much better than most other bread which may look similar. The proof of it's goodness is that even after a week in the refrigerator, even without toasting or heating in any way, it tastes damned good. I especially enjoy this bread with a piece of good swiss cheese, provolone, and perhaps with some hard salami (not a health food), and some crispy Cubanelle or Banana Green peppers. Don't forget that this bread is perfect for making your own Panini ! You don't need to have a special press, just use a brick (covered in aluminum foil) to press down on your sandwich placed in a skillet. They're wholesale Baker's so you can only get their bread at retail markets such as Marketplace on Dempster (Skokie), Jewel Osco (Rogers Park), Fresh Farms (on Devon & Touhy). I've only listed these because they're within easy reach of Rogers Park where we live. So unless you prefer bread to taste like paper cardboard (Wonder Bread) go get some. You can phone them to find out where the closest retail store is for you.
