El Motel Bangtel Dos and Tres

Awesome place to have a get together! We had a group of 11 people spend the weekend and it was perfect. The beds were super comfy, there is a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, but best of all a giant back patio with a big table and a grill, and they provide grill tools and propane free of charge. We had tons of fun, and the host texted us once a day asking if she could bring us anything we needed. Street parking was easy, it's right near a 7-11, coffee house and bars and restaurants. This is a great place to have friends and family from out of town for a weekend.

We had an amazing stay at El Motel Tres for a 30th birthday party COVID-style... birthday themed masks and a socially distanced chef-prepared dinner!! The Space: Bangtel did a helluva job with this fun and modern take on a Tex Mex theme. The art was tasteful and well placed. The outdoor patio was the focal point of the space - amazing to entertain in! The kitchen was fully stocked with dish and silverware. Liz even dropped off some booze to make our stay more enjoyable! I usually sleep on a king bed at home and thought the queen and full beds would bother me, but the Sleep 6 beds are actually SO comfortable. Cleanliness & Safety: Between the living area and beautiful outdoor patio, the apartment was large enough to accommodate 8 people and a few in-town guests safely. There was plentiful cleaning supplies, linens, and towels there for our use. Neighborhood/Location: The location is great with everything Logan Square has to offer. One of our party designed a walking food and booze tour - we had plenty to pick from - Gaslight Coffee, Parsons Chicken, the Freeze, so many bars! There is paid parking right outside and free street parking around the corner. Critiques: I really don't have much to say in terms of cons. One thing to be aware of is that the 4th bedroom is separate from the rest of the unit, meaning you have to exit the back door onto the stair landing and enter into the 4th bedroom. The door is secure like all the entry/exit doors of the unit and it has its own AC. It wasn't a problem at all but caught some of our guest off guard.

Nice spot, the stairs kinda suck and the parking was hit or miss but super close to food and bars and I liked the "backyard" area

Very clean, comfortable and great decor. Nice backyard area to relax in, also. In the middle of a so many great restaurants and bars. Close to downtown area, as well. Loved it!
