Sumo Sushi and Hibachi

Amazing as always. Went here last week for my birthday dinner- I used to live in the neighborhood and definitely had Sumo a few times a month. Their hibachi is AMAZING. Their sushi is fresh and delicious. The staff is so respectful and inviting. They definitely show pride in their work and I am consistently shown top notch service. Thank you Sumo!

It wasn't a bad place, the atmosphere was good and the people were pleasant. Miso soup was delicious. The sushi was a little odd, majority of it was grounded up fish -- at least the majority of roles we got. It was a little on the expensive side for being the quality

had two hand rolls and the clear soup - both were absolutely delicious! great service and lots of variety on the menu

Good place to have Sushi. Parking is hard to find but taste is good and staff is kind.

Phenomenal, fresh sushi. Our favs were the Spicy Girl roll and fried Godzilla roll. We had to order a encore of food because it was just too good. Not to mention the appetizers...we ordered gyoza, tuna tartare, miso soup. All of this was made in front of us for a great experience. Some of the best Japanese in Chicago and I highly recommend!
