Highly recommended for those like creative twists on classic comfort foods. VERY WELL executed, and perfect date/brunch spot. As far as meals are concerned, get the breakfast empanadas, Huevos Benedicto, Coobah Skillet, or the Sandwich "coobah", and wash it down with a La Paloma, or Caipirinha with fresh fruit

At this point I've probably had Eggs Benedict at over 80 brunch locations. Coobah's "Huevos Benedictos" are easily in the #1 spot for Benny - and second place is not even close. I highly highly recommend this dish for anyone that likes Eggs Benedict.

There's one dish that will bring me back: Jibarito - just a great combination of flavors and texture profiles. However, the other dishes are just ok. Mojitos just did not taste right, not enough lime/mint/sugar. Can be overly strict about needing a reservation, finished an entire meal at the bar with 3 friends even thought there were several empty tables for the duration of the meal.

I loved this place the first time I went. I had a pork chop special with a chipotle sweet potato puree. It was delicious. Then, I went back with my boyfriend and the service and the food were terrible. He was so confused about why I'd talked it up so much. Hopefully that was just one bad night. Go on a night when they have live music.
