Jerk Villa Bar & Grill is a restaurant and bar located in the Loop in Chicago, IL. Started by Kingston, Jamaica natives, the McKnight family, we began in the heart of south-side Chicago in 2008. Since then, our restaurant has grown to feature signature cocktails, delicious food, and a culture-inspired atmosphere that celebrates the food and drink of Jamaica. In addition to offering signature punch flights along with other unique cocktail options, we also strive to serve locals and visitors authentic Jamaican food to bring Jamaican culture to Chicago. The food use to be really good but now it seems to be hit or miss, the service leaves a lot to be desired, the last time I went I waited 40 minuts for a drink, and the waitress was busy on a personal cell call, the location is great and you would think that management would take advantage of all the potential traffic from all of the surrounding hotels and events center but it has been continuously going down unfortunately. I don't plan on ever going back.
