I will not visit this establishment anymore. I used to frequent this place when I used to live on the West side, and back in the day, the food was great. It was my first time back here in a long time, and my last time. The menu has changed. The food was below sub-par and not hot at all. There was no flavor or seasoning. The only thing I ate that was okay off my order was the mac and cheese. I threw away the beef short ribs, the yams, and greens. None of those items tasted like anything. I when here in the early afternoon, so I am not sure what happened. The line where they put your food together was absolutely awful. The young lady only complained the entire time she was fixing individuals plates. She did not want anyone correcting her or saying anything to her. It was just awful. There are other very good soul food places in Chicago to visit beside this one.

Went there for some Mac and yams grab a veggie tray(as they called it)(no meat) 4 sides I got double yams double Mac and my total was $11.05 I was to blew.. if a chicken dinner cost $8.99 with tax $11 I might as well got a chicken dinner neva again

They are better they fell off before Covid trying push out them can vegetables real foodies you can't play with
