I have to be honest in the past I loved bucktown pub. Last Saturday I got told they were at capacity which is fine but it was 12 degrees. To make matters worse before I even walked away the bouncer let 4 women in that arrived after me. If they want to play those river north games then they arent the neighborhood bar Ive know.

Place is okay, but not great. My only go to dog would be the elite dog. Since I am a huge fan of elote. But everything else is eh. There's a bunch of creative options available to try. But it just wasn't my cup of tea. Oh! Always get the lobster roll, never the other! Haha.

Can't really review the newest incarnation of the BP, but the memories I have from back in the 90's... Best time of my life. That of course was before the neighborhood sold it's soul. Miss you Kris Palmer!

About
Bucktown Pub

Welcome to the Bucktown Pub! Allegedly established in 1932 we are one of the citys oldest and best-hidden gems. A home away from home where the High Life is as cold as the White Claw and the Draft Beer is Fancy! Its a place where you can get a shot of inexpensive whiskey, a big basket of delicious, free popcorn, or a well-crafted cocktail. We strive to have a little something for everyone. Anyone who walks in is sure to be greeted by our mascot Buck, the infamous Bucktown Goat. Legend has it he used to rub elbows with local politicians and mobsters in his heyday. Youre also bound to meet some of the friendliest staff and regulars this side of the Chicago River. Theres always someone interesting to talk to and very rarely a dull moment. Our private Beer Garden is world-renowned and is probably one of the best places in town to enjoy a cold beer on a beautiful day. One of our bartenders always says that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston probably met out there. Keep in mind that he also believes that an underling of Al Capones came up with the idea for hard seltzer, so you be the judge.
