Jesus Garcia is a wonderful teacher, who emphasizes both artistry and technique. Over the past seven years, he has taught my two children as well as my husband, who at 51 decided he wanted to improve his skills (and he has!). Most recently, with Jesus's coaching, my 13-year-old son passed a competitive entrance audition at The Chicago Academy for the Arts. Exacting, and yet flexible, warm, and personable in his approach, Jesus develops in his students a love for the instrument as well as confidence in their own musicianship.

Jesus' quality of work is great and he is an amazing person. We feel very lucky - He's an excellent piano teacher! My 10-year old son has been taking piano lessons from Jesus for a few months now and we really like him! In the course of only a few months my son has advanced fairly well and has grown even more fond of playing the piano. Jesus has a natural and pleasant way of working with his students in that correction is actually done in the most positive way and continuous applies good encouragement during lessons. He is also very responsive and professional. This is our second piano teacher so we have at least one other experience in comparison.

Jesus Garcia is an excellent piano teacher, my son is learning to play piano with very good technique and confidence. He is always waiting for his next piano lesson. I totally recommend Mr. Garcia as piano teacher.
