Michael was incredibly pleasant to work with, and beyond helpful. He arrived plenty of time in advance, and dealt with my uncertain schedule without even batting an eye. He was very helpful in providing advice and feedback on location and the actual shots to take, while also very respectful of the wishes of myself and my fiance. The photos he took are consistently described as "magical". Thanks :D

I hired Michael to capture my surprise proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé) in Chicago. Michael helped out tremendously with planning the perfect spot. Our original location didn't work due to the weather and we were able to make last minute changes. In all honesty I think the location he choose turned out even better than the original! Michael was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole photo shoot. He is extremely friendly, down to earth, and easy to relate to. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. We are extremely happy with how the photos turned out. He even went above and beyond to give us a sneak peak later that evening. We received the full album within a few days of the shoot. He is very creative with his angles and placement in his shots. Which we really enjoyed because it was more than just your average "for mom and dad" engagement photos. We hired Michael to do our engagement shoot in Chicago and were so thrilled with our experience! Michael is so easy to work with, down to earth and a very talented photographer. We wanted photos that were unique, artistic, and not a cookie-cutter engagement shoot and that's exactly what Michael delivered! He is a super professional, and went out of his way to make sure we got everything we wanted out of our engagement shoot. Michael did an amazing job taking photos of when I proposed to the love of my life. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was prepared before the shoot and most importantly that we both were comfortable during the shoot. The photos that we got are treasures that we will look back on for the rest of our lives. We couldn't have been happier with the service he provided and the pictures he took.

MAV Photography is phenomenal! We've used Michael on several occasions now to include infant, family, and toddler shots and have been impressed every single time. His patience and energy in capturing the priceless and often fleeting moments of our now seventeen month old son while still getting the shots my husband and I want is astounding. Michael knows where to go, when to go, and how to shoot and the pictures could not be more beautiful. In fact, we used our son's First Birthday photos as our Christmas Card this past year and friends and family alike were equally impressed. We look forward to continuing to use MAV Photography in the future and highly recommend them for capturing life's greatest moments, whatever they may be.
