La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant

We visited La Catedral for my friends birthday brunch. Food was fantastic! The chilaquiles were delicious! I highly recommend this place. Make sure you try the coffee!

Caf de olla is delicious but the panini de pierna gave me food poisoning!! Do not eat any meat there, I ordered the chicken rellena to go and the meat was pink. It was inedible. Sadly I wont be coming here again. If you come here stick to the chilaquiles.

If you live in the area or plan to be in the area, I would suggest this place as the portions are large and the food is made on the spot. The waitress and waiters are of exceptional service. Not to mention that the food as well as the service and portions are also exquisite and very filling. The options that are included within the menu cater to those who want to lean more toward the authentic Mexican flavor which is great taking into consideration the area that this restaurant is located in. Despite all these amazing things one minor flaw is that this place tends to get full very fast. The interior is very comforting and very aesthetically pleasing and doesnt take away from the food. Overall this place is an incredible Little Village gem.
