Taquería El Charro I

We ordered the breakfast special and the steak chimichanga on postmates. Postmates won't let us review the restaurant which means the reviews on the app aren't accurate. Both meals were such bad quality we couldn't eat it. My breakfast was complete soaked and wet with a sauce. Everything in it was swimming. My husband's chimichanga was just beef and cheese and was dripping in oil. We had to make breakfast and throw these orders away. Maybe eat in person as opposed to ordering but I personally would only eat there for something simple like tacos.

Might be my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area got the veggie taco dinner and horchata and everything was soo fresh and delicious, definitely a 10/10 EDIT: had to change my review sadly. The last time I was in the restaurant while waiting for my food I noticed a server take the used dipping salsa from a dine-in table and pour them in to-go cups to be given back to customers. Cannot in good conscience give sanitary standards like that 5 stars. Lowkey horrifying and unfortunately will not be returning.

Great food in Rogers Park. Authentic to Mexico. I've been here several times and I keep going back because they've never let me down. Consistently good food, prices, and service. I think they're BYOB also. So enjoy your beverage and enjoy this great food.

Ordered food never got here when I called they said they were here they swear they were calling me yet theres nothing wrong with my phone when i call them... I received no phone calls and the guy was kinda rude.
