Heartland Health Centers - Wilson

I just left the lab for blood work on my child because at the other clinic in lake view their labs weren’t open yet so I came here. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with the receptionist and phlebotomist. The receptionist was just there for a paycheck no friendly greeting stank attitude just very unwelcoming. Now the phlebotomist was even worse. She was SO RUDE AND SO Rough. The lady yelled at my child gave me attitude and was rough to me and my child. When you’re working with children you have to have a sense of compassion which this lady CLEARLY didn’t have she was cold rude and I will never come here again !

I had my appointment today and I was really upset with the service. This was my first time at this location, it took a total of 2+ hours, the doctor was the only one who apologized for the inconvenience and gave a good service. Reception was definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve, I’m reasonable so I waited almost 25 minutes just for a simple rescheduling and she wasn’t able to do it. So I took the papers and did the rescheduling by myself on the phone to a different location. She didn’t even apologize for making me wait almost 25 minutes for a simple appointment follow up. HHC at Lincoln Square has a much better service compared to the Wilson location.

I’m in the same boat as most here (not getting a call back or an appointment after 3 months of near constant calling). The Doctor I’m trying to get a hold of (Dr. Buyea) accidentally punctured my stomach while removing my ovary. I had to have a second emergency surgery to repair the damage she caused, leaving me in severe pain and thousands of dollars in debt. I still don’t understand what she did during my surgery, I’m still in pain, and she refuses to call me back after over 3 months of calling her office trying to set up an appointment with her. I cannot recommend her less. Her mistake was terrible, but ignoring my calls and questions about what happened is cruelty on another level. The front desk staff and call center folks are actually really nice and helpful… but God help anyone who has to be under the care of some of these doctors.
