I started going to Tandang Garimot in September and it is absolutely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Everyone here, students and the instructors, are fantastic. I personally hate the gym and most group exercise classes. I either get bored or lose motivation. Going here though has been an entirely different experience.
When I first started, I was really nervous! I have horrible coordination and zero martial art training. Nevertheless, it was something I have always wanted to try. After reading the reviews, I thought that this would be the place for me.
The first couple of days, I thought I was going to die after Muay Thai class. I even snuck out of one class early because I felt that I couldn't do it. However, I still kept going back because I knew I couldn't give up. The times I would get to the point of giving up again, everyone was so encouraging and gave me the extra push I needed to keep going, rather than look down on me.
The classes not only build endurance, confidence and teach practical applications, they are super fun. I am so glad I found this place. I could go on and on about how great this place is but I won't. Stop reading and check this place out! You won't regret it.

This is a great Martial Arts school which mainly promots Filipino Martial Arts but also has many other different styles to offer as well. There are several different classes you can take there and if you are a member you can train all day everyday if you wish in any and all disiplines. You also dont' have to take martial arts there there. They have classes designed for cardio as well.
The teachers there are awesome and always willing to help and teach. Its a very friendly and fun atmosphere. All the students there are also very friendly and helpful.
They designed their front room to feel like a family room. Where you can relax after a hard workout or wait for the next one. They want you to feel welcome and at home as well as feel as a part of a martial arts family.
These are a great group of guys wanting to spread their knowledge to others as well promote good health. I highly recommend at least checking out the school. I'm getting into the best shape I have ever been in since I was 18 and I'm loving the results as well as meeting new people and developing new friendships.
