        My family of six and I dined at Cafe Bionda yesterday for my son's birthday. The experience was good, but less than ideal. The bone-in ribeye, brick chicken, and rigatoni were amazing! The gnocchi and Duo Ravioli were bland, but the lobster bisque was surprisingly salty. We ordered a side of the vodka sauce, added it to the ravioli and gnocchi, which made them so much better. The crabcake was also unavailable. Aside from the food, the new server was a bit of a challenge. There were several order requests that were missed, she did not fully understand the menu and had no knowledge of how to open a bottle of wine. Most notably, there were several sneezes and nose wipes that took place in the kitchen area after handling glassware and food plates; which were of major sanitation concern. It was evident she was new to the position and received minimal training and/or shadowing. While I would have loved a better experience at Cafe Bionda, this was not a highlight of our family dinner celebration.
