We hired Todd to assist us in a bathroom gut rehab. I had grandiose plans that included a deep soaking tub, slate walls and floor, and a desire for a wooden ceiling. Todd listened attentively and gently guided us to an actual solution that transcended my original ideas. Todd has an immense knowledge of not only home furnishing but commercial fixtures. For a small job like ours, dealing with manufacturers of commercial fixtures can be a nightmare but there were no serious cost or delivery overruns. Best of all once the design is done, he remains involved by working with the contractor and suppliers to make sure everything is finished according to the highest standards. Todd even stepped in when our slate floor was damaged during the ceiling installation to make sure it was refinished free of charge. While we work with no other designer other than Todd, I feel sorry for the competition since he has established such a high bar. Service: Refurbishment

Todd has designed two Chicago apartments for us, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He transformed our dark and dreary vintage condo into a sophisticated and serene oasis. His first brilliant idea was to turn a long hall into a bright and welcoming gallery with large, framed mirrors on one side and floating art rails on the other. In the living room, he reupholstered mid-century stainless steel chairs and gilded antique chairs in the same nubby-textured gray fabric for a sleek, minimalist look. When I asked him for old Hollywood glamour in the master bedroom, he really delivered -- even though that style was out of his comfort zone. Todd is especially creative with high-low design, such as pairing inexpensive industrial shelving with high-end wallpaper. It's always a pleasure working with Todd!

Todd Haley has designed my new residence every time I have had to relocated for my job. I first discovered Todd when I lived in Chicago and hired him to create the ultimate bachelor pad in 2001. When I moved to New York, the first thing I did was hire Todd to design my new (much smaller!) space in Manhattan in 2003. Since then, I've hired Todd to design my flat in London in 2012. And now that I'm back in New York, Todd designed several rooms (the most important ones!) in my new house in the suburb of Nyack. Todd has a great eye for design. He took the time to understand my lifestyle and immediately went to work to design around my needs, both functional and emotional, to pull together spaces that act as my serene escape from a hectic corporate life with travel and chaos. Todd has brilliantly designed my space to act as a decompression chamber I enter at the end of each day. It's a place I proudly call home and welcome guests to showcase just how much my hectic work life is all worth it.
