image Dr. Ross is excellent. Very respectful and knowledgeable and he cares for my well-being. The medical student and fellow at my last appointment were also fun to talk with as well and very helpful. Best pain management experience I have had and I will recommend NW to everyone.

image This is specific to Dr.Chung in Pain Managment. First of all, it is beyond crazy that any pain doctor makes you feel rushed while walking to get your injections. His bedside manner is non existent. He talks AT you not TO you. Im not sure if he knows what empathy is after my last and final appointment. I had an appointment for another injection for pain. While waiting I knew something seemed off because I would normally be in a gown after waiting so long. He then came in to tell me he can no longer do anymore injections for my pain. He also informed me that he does not believe in anything else but injections for pain. This is some thing he couldve called me for before I spent the time and money to show up. He did not give me any recommendations of what I should do to move forward. I left holding back tears. I cried in the bathroom and my car. He wasnt nice or hopeful or fake understanding about any of it. I truly hope there are not students there learning from him thinking this is how it works. He left me with a small window of hope after me doing everything and anything to help manage my chronic pain. Do not ever go to him to help you for anything pain related. You will eventually leave in tears while in more pain.

image I have wasted a year of my life that I would never get back. You can't be seen for 2-3 months. They leave you in pain for 2-3 months and the best that they can do is prescribe medication that don't work for my condition. I have cried many times to their nurses begging them to please help. Unfortunately, the nurses can't do anything because I would have to be seen. Some of the doctors are lovely. The staff are lovely. They only have ONE head/neck/face specialist! He was a nice man but he didn't even give me time or day to give me an explanation about my condition. Instead it was more "let's do this, let's do that" and all the procedures we have done failed. You know why? They weren't treating the root cause. I finally couldn't take it anymore and went to a PRIVATE pain management doctor. In one appointment with my new doctor, I learned a lot about my condition and he told that that all the procedures that Northwestern did were nothing but superficial and not treating the root cause. If you have good insurance and have chronic pain with your head, neck or ,face, DON'T GO HERE. That was my mistake.

image Extremely poor service. Really disappointed in how I was treated on the phone. Also disappointed in this office's protocols. I'm in pain, and you're telling me I have to wait nearly two months to be seen?! And that's after someone reviews my chart to make sure I "qualify" as a patient. Why don't you call my doctor who referred me to you??
